Our cleaning process consists of a natural stone travertine mechanical wash with a neutral ph natural travertine stone detergent. We then rinse the travertine and prepare the natural surface for a penetrating sealer that is applied and worked into the pores of the travertine stone tile.
We repair cracks, pits / holes, and even etched travertine tiles that may be present in your home. Travertine natural stone tiles are sensitive to certain cleaners, and can become etched or damaged when not properly maintained. Travertine is very porous and sealing is always recommended to help prevent soiling and staining.
During cleaning we use a safe neutral cleaner on your travertine floor to protect it from etching and damage. After cleaning, we can also buff the travertine with our diamond pads in order to bring back the original luster. We can always polish the travertine to any desired sheen as well.
